write a real comment and get a reply, don't put any efford in the comment and I won't put any efford in pressing the "reply" button xD

And yay for my first stamp.

I'd take that over not getting comments at all.

Wish I could reply, but all that comes to mind when I get one-word comments is "yes". :XD:

That'd be ridiculous, and funny.

Comment: Cute
Me: Yes.

I often write rather verbose comments on stamps and stuff...

VERY verbose comments... Sometimes with a wee bit of interesting education...

And sometimes for arguments against certain stamps... highly verbose to get through to my points...

This bugs me so much because they took the effort to comment, but that is all they could say?
How are we supposed to start a conversation with that? I mean, if you like the art, don't you want to have at least a 1-reply conversation with the artist? I do, and I'm really happy when I get a reply. :)

Saying a one word comment on deviantArt is different from saying the same on Youtube or in real life. It's permanently stuck there and takes up space. Especially when you get 10 comments and they're all one word...

I know this will totally not happen, but I wish there would be a space just for one word or super-short comments next to the regular comments space; like a shoutbox but much neater.

Please people, be more creative!
"LOL" "cute" ⇒ "Thank you."
"This is so funny I laughed out loud! XD" ⇒ "OMG Really? Hahaha, thanks!"
"It's cute. I want to squish it." ⇒ "Awww thanks. Yeah, let's squish the *insert what the cuteness is about here* together shall we. :D"
See the difference?

I miss the feelings(?) option because
1) I can at least add a feeling emote to a one-word comment/reply. Looks much better.
2) I can add a feeling emote to "proper" replies and not do so to one-words.

Now that you've mentioned it... I miss the feelings option, too...

It looks adorable... and it warms an artist up inside when that is seen!

They also helped organise the comments into groups.

Nether the less... there are always emoticons to show the emotions of a deviant's comment...

like this one-->:love:

I basically won't be replying too, but that's what DA is, you can't expect everyone to be professional, not to mention that this is a public server which anyone can be one from underage to teenage years.

So if you really want a reasonable critique then hang out with the popular dudes or show it to your teachers and professors. Otherwise you will get the same thing over and over again.

There should be some kind of rule requiring commenters to type out a full sentence. =.='
